Founder

“Reformed video games developer,” focused on spatial computing and simulation. His through-line is helping people see better — building tools for civic participation, modeling, and computational democracy.

  • Co-developed a 3D tracking and reconstruction library for AR telepresence at Xerox PARC, yielding three patents.
  • Shipped immersive 3D and mixed-reality systems at Mozilla R&D.
  • As CTO at Liminal AR (Samsung Accelerator, SF), led a team building markerless optical SLAM tracking, and contributed to 6D.ai — later acquired by Niantic for their world models.
  • Contributed to several digital-twin projects, including work with the team behind The Matrix films.
  • Designed and puppeteered real-time digital actors on The Zero Theorem, working on set with director Terry Gilliam.

Developer

Engineering, design, and deployment across two decades — spanning civic infrastructure, consumer software at scale, and science communication.

  • Built automated test suites and on-device firmware tooling for Los Angeles County’s ballot-marking devices at Smartmatic — systems trustworthy enough for high-stakes public use.
  • Managed release engineering and certification for mobile and web games with millions of daily users at Disney Interactive, including COPPA compliance verification.
  • Designed and produced research websites and feature articles translating oceanographic research for public audiences at Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
  • UCSD degree in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts.
